I've been teaching AP Physics for nine years, with most of my experience in AP Physics 1 and C: Mechanics. I particularly enjoy teaching rotational motion because it brings together several ideas students have already studied. My lessons usually involve worked examples, short quizzes and plenty of time for questions. I also spend time reviewing free-response answers, especially where students lose marks through unclear explanations or missing steps.

Hi! I'm a Physics tutor with four years of experience helping AP students get through the trickier parts of the course. Electricity and circuits are probably my favourite topics to teach. I like using simple drawings and everyday examples before getting into the equations. Most of my students come to me when homework starts getting difficult, so we work through their questions together and figure out which parts need more practice.

My background is in mechanical engineering, and I've spent six years tutoring AP Physics C: Mechanics. I mainly work with students who understand the mathematics but struggle to apply it to physical situations. We spend a good amount of time on force diagrams, energy methods and rotational dynamics. Before exams, I use timed free-response questions to help students practise choosing an approach and presenting their calculations clearly.

Physics was always the subject I enjoyed most at school, especially anything involving waves and sound. I've now been tutoring AP Physics 2 for three years. I tend to keep lessons quite relaxed, but I do expect students to explain how they arrived at an answer. We use sketches, past questions and the occasional online simulation. I find that discussing why an answer is wrong can sometimes be more useful than immediately showing the correct method.

For the past eleven years, I've worked with students preparing for AP Physics examinations, particularly AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism. My teaching focuses on connecting mathematical methods with the underlying physical principles. Students often need additional support with electric fields, Gauss's law and magnetic forces. I structure lessons around individual problem areas and regularly review written solutions for accuracy and reasoning.

Hello! I started tutoring AP Physics while finishing my engineering degree and have continued for five years. I really enjoy helping students with motion graphs and Newton's laws, especially when the textbook explanations feel unnecessarily complicated. I usually ask students to talk me through their thinking before we start calculating anything. We also practise multiple-choice questions because recognising what a question is actually asking takes practice.
