I've been teaching AP Physics for 7 years, and one thing I've noticed is that students often understand the formulas but struggle to apply them to unfamiliar questions. I particularly enjoy teaching momentum, circular motion and energy conservation. My lessons involve plenty of sketches, worked examples and discussions about why certain methods work. Closer to exams, we practise free-response questions and look carefully at how to explain each step for full marks.

I've spent 11 years teaching AP Physics, mainly helping students prepare for AP Physics 1 and AP Physics C. My background in mechanical engineering means I particularly enjoy teaching rotational dynamics, forces and energy. I encourage students to explain their working rather than simply substitute numbers into equations. During exam preparation, we focus on free-response questions, experimental analysis and recognising common mistakes in calculations.

Hi! I've been tutoring AP Physics for 4 years, and I really enjoy finding different ways to explain difficult topics. Waves and electricity are my favourites because there are so many practical examples to use. I often bring simple experiments into lessons or use animations to show what's happening. My students get plenty of practice with graphs and calculations, but I also make sure they can explain the physics behind their answers.
